The Water Separator

The ultradri® water separator is used to eliminate water droplets from the compressed air system. Its purely mechanical function, its fluid mechanically optimized housing and its efficient condensate drain form the basis for its long and trouble free service-life.

Prefilters

If you are looking at ways to cut operating costs, take a closer look at prefilters. The contaminants they capture means less work for downstream filters, so their performance and service-life is correspondingly enhanced.

Ultrafilter has developed two different types, the filtration material of the standard PE type consists of ultrapoly®, a sintered polyethylene. It reliably eliminates solid and liquid impurities. With a guaranteed constant effectiveness and removal efficiency. The type SB ultraporex® filters offer advantages where temperature exposure and trouble-free regeneration are the decisive factors The filter material on these elements consist of pure sintered bronze. The SB type is available in three different pore sizes.

High Performance Filters: for in service dependability

With ultrair® micro-fibre fleece, you can capture even the most minute impurities in the fine, micro and sub-micro filters.

And: Chemical reactions with the impurities in the compressed air are impossible, since the fabric contains no binders.

All high performance filter elements operate on the high-efficiency two-stage filtration principle: The compressed air first flows through a prefiltration stage which removes coarse impurities and only then reaches the ultrair filtration material. This enhances service-life and makes long-term use even more cost-effective.

The Intelligent Filter System

Economizer
The new Economizer stores all relevant data concerning filter element costs, costs for energy consumption as well as further data and evaluates during the increasing contamination the cost-optimized point for filter element change. The Economizer is equipped with a battery and can also be connected to a central monitoring station.

Filter
Utrafilter filters range from dust filters or water separators up to sub-micro filters and activated carbon filters.

Condensate Drain
Ultramat UFM-T1. Ultramat - the electronically, level-controlled automatic drain without losses of your most valuable energy - compressed air.

Housing
The three-piece design of the filter housing and the double O-ring sealing system simplify the installation and filter changing. And guarantee maximum operating reliability. A special housing-seal design permits incorporation of an acoustic alarm signal, preventing incorrect handling.

The super light aluminum housing is ideally suitable for volume flows from 12 to 1,728 cfm at an operating pressure of up to 230 psig. A quick-change screw fit makes filter changing exceptionally easy. Flange fitted steel housings are recommended for higher flow rates. They are type-tested and approved.
